noumena

For my noumena project I chose to shoot a series about the spirit and religion. At first, I thought “time” was what I wanted to do. I decided against that after attempting to shoot a series based on time. I ended up doing religion because though one cannot perceive their God, they know they are there. Throughout the entire project I kept asking myself "if someone had their senses taken away what would they have left?" and this question lead me to thinking about death and what happens when you die. I didn’t focus on one religion but instead on several to show religions in general rather than one in particular.
